The reader and Mitch slowly watch Morrie become incapacitated with his crippling disease, and eventually die. Morrie offers a unique point of view. He talks us through the most important things in life and thoughts about aging, death, family, marriage, money, and what it means to die and let go. Morrie will become the readers favorite teacher as well. Dying is a part of life that everyone has to pass through, and hearing Morrie's dying words about death are impactful and moving.
